A happy evening...

On a day without rain
First by bike, then the train
Counting the stations
with much patience
Reached the beach
To make the evening a peach

Letting out the kid in me
getting dirty nail to hand
Digging tunnels of sand

Brushing waves made us wet
foot to knee
but gave much glee
and we felt free

Time flew by so fast
started back home
feeling so light
as came the night!
